View Funeral WebcastRobert L. Tosh, 65, self-employed carpenter and resident of Sheepneck Road in Mt. Pleasant, died Friday, June 19, 2009 at Hidden Acres Health Care. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Ronald Paul officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Giles County native was the son of the late Woodrow Tosh and Edna Howell Tosh and a member of the Baptist church. Survivors include sons, Robert "Eddie" (Chandi) Tosh, Sr. of Mt. Pleasant, Jeremy (Angie) Tosh of Columbia, Justin (Victoria Lopez) Tosh of Culleoka; daughters, LeAnna (Jeremy) Caul of Columbia and Leslie (Brandon Beard) Tosh of Columbia; grandchildren, Robert "R. J." (Kristin) Tosh, Jr. of Hawaii, Samantha (Cesar) Garcia of Columbia, Tildon Tosh of Mt. Plesaant, Cassandra Tosh of Mt. Pleasant, Kailey Tosh of Culleoka, Grace Tosh of Culleoka, Kandice Beard of Columbia, and Leland Beard of Columbia; great-grandchildren, Robert "Ret" Tosh, III of Hawaii, Sixto Garcia and Hunny Garcia of Columbia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Wray "Fran" Tosh and step-father, J. B. Tosh. Active pallbearers are Jimmy Andrews, Johnnie Andrews, Mike Bullion, Bubba Posey, Roy Clark, Robin Workman, Elmer Workman, and Timmy Clark. Honorary pallbearers include staff of Hidden Acres, Bud Tomlin, Donald Paul, Charlie Williams, Tim Malone, Phillip Parrish, Mark Tosh, Randal Tosh, Harold Rippey, and Glen Rippey.
