Robin Lynn Miller

Robin Lynn Miller, 66, resident of Columbia, died Sunday, October 6, 2019 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 7:00 P.M. at West 7th Street Church of Christ. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. at the church. Born February 28, 1953 in Searcy, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Jule LeGrosse Miller and the late Judy Hogan Miller. He graduated from Rayburn High School in Pasadena, Texas and received his B.A. from Harding University in 1977. On August 20, 1977, he married Ellen Ruth Shroades. He was a former deacon at West 7th Street Church of Christ where he worked with the church library. His passion in life was to bring others to Jesus. He enjoyed reading with his grandchildren and being a part of their education. He is survived by his wife Ellen Ruth Shroades Miller of Columbia, TN; daughters, Joy Allen of Columbia, TN and Joanna (Travis) Kuhns of Columbia, TN; foster son, Devon Killen; sisters, Julia (Allen) Wright of Huntsville, AL, Laura (David) Grady of Louisville, KY, Patty Miller of Pasadena, TX, Tammy McGee of Deer Park ,TX, Wendy (Randy) Talkington of Arlington, TX, Susan (Steve) Powers of Harrison, AR; brothers, Mark (Jean) Miller of Nashville, TN, Scott (Terri) Miller of Harrison, AR, Todd (Joy) Miller of Searcy, AR; grandchildren, Celia Allen, Asha Allen, Ephraim Allen, Selene Kuhns, Kate Kuhns; and many loved nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Kyle Allen and brother-in-law, Jerry McGee.
