Roger Dale Stewart

Roger Dale Stewart, 61, self-employed roofer and painter, died Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at his residence on Depot Street in Culleoka. A graveside service will be conducted Friday at 11:00 A.M. at Rose Hill Cemetery with Corey Bell officiating. The family will visit with friends at the graveside. A family man, he loved reminiscing, cooking, eating, making people laugh and was a big joker. He enjoyed drawing and painting. Mr. Stewart was a member of Culleoka Church of Christ. Survivors include his children, Amanda, Roger, Jr. and Dewayne; sisters, Mary Ann Kelly of Culleoka, Mildred Kelly of Columbia; special sister and caregiver, Deloise "Cricket" Love of Culleoka; special brother-in-law and caregiver, Jerry Homer Love of Culleoka; brother, Danny Stewart of Nashville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Shelly Stewart; siblings, Frances Monahan, Idell Dean, DeMorris Palo, Vernell Kelly, Pauline Norman, James Edward Stewart, and Randy Lynn Stewart.
