Romny Hope Derryberry Thompson

Romny Hope Derryberry Thompson, 52, died Thursday, March 2, 2017 at her residence on Brown Hollow Road. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Reverend Drew Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in Graves Cemetery in Perry County. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Ronnie Derryberry and Peggy Reed Derryberry Logue. She was graduate of Columbia Central High School and worked at the Beauty Clinic for 25 years. Mrs. Thompson was a member of Hohenwald United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Michael Paul Thompson of Columbia; brother, Ryan Derryberry of Lewisburg; step children, Grant (Brittany) Thompson of Spring Hill; Morgan (Nolan) Cowan of Lawrenceburg; step grandchildren, Emily Curry; Addison Cowan; and nephew, Elijah Derryberry. Active pallbearers will be Dennis Fisher, Greg Kelley, Ricky Bishop, Warren Davis, Bo Davis, and Grant Thompson.
