View Funeral Webcast Ronnie Dean Lunn, 76, resident of Lynnville, died Friday at his residence. A private graveside service for Mr. Lunn will be held in Kinnard Cemetery. Born February 20, 1944 in Maury County, he was the son of the late Vera Penn Lunn and the late Ruby Lunn. On July 3, 1964, he married his wife, Glenda South Lunn. Mr. Lunn worked as a lineman for Bell South for 34 years. Mr. Lunn was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a founding member and one of the first members on the Board of Directors for the Maury County Gun Club. When Mr. Lunn was not at church or home, he was always trying to better the Maury County Gun Club. He loved being outdoors, and was an avid gunsmith and hunter. Mr. Lunn was an active member and elder at the Mt. Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Glenda South Lunn of Lynnville, TN; son, Gregory Penn (Trenia Shon) Lunn of Rogersville, AL; sisters, Frankie (Stan) Pilkinton of Columbia, TN and Vera Sue (Ronnie) Riley of Columbia, TN; grandchildren, Khandi Lee Ann Owens, Trenton Curry Penn Lunn, Carson Gray Eli Lunn; great grandchildren, Landon Gage Haley, Cohen Nash Eli Lunn, and Avett South Owens; several nieces & nephews; and special friend, Trent Payne. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Alvin Lunn and Samuel Stacey Lunn. The family would like to express a special thanks to Mr. Lunn’s caregiver, Betty Hurd Thompson, for all of the love and care she has shown to him during his illness. Active pallbearers will be Roy Boyd, Steve Rice, Jerry Prince, Trent Prince, Bob Terry, Trent Payne, Mickey Fitzgerald, and Harry Lunn.
