Ronnie Dean Lanier, died Wednesday, August 10, 2016 in Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Born December 15, 1956 in Giles County, he was the son of the late Harold Dean Lanier and Neva Slaughter Lanier. Mr. Lanier was of Baptist faith. Survivors include his brother, Harold Lanier of Columbia; and niece, Britney Bass.
