Ronnie Randal Davis

Ronnie Randal Davis, 70, resident of Brown Hollow Road, died Monday June 24, 2019 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1:00 P.M. at Oakes and Nichols Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born January 19, 1949 in Maury County, he was the son of Mary Katherine Baker Davis and the late Harold Loyd Davis. He was a graduate of Columbia Central High School class of 1968 and worked as an auto body mechanic for over 50 years. An avid car enthusiast, he enjoyed working on, racing, and restoring cars. At one time, he enjoyed going on motorbike trips and wave running. He was a member of the Berea Church of Christ. He is survived by his mother, Mary Katherine Baker Davis of Columbia; wife, Sandra Kay Dickens Davis of Columbia; daughters, Lisa Annette Davis of Chapel Hill, Jennifer Belle Davis McCandless of Neapolis; grandchildren, Brandon Matthew (Kim) Davis, Braydon McCandless, Kailee McCandless, Hallie McCandless, Chelsea McCandless; sister, Melba Janice Ledford of Columbia. Active pallbearers will include Brandon Davis, Hunter Hargrove, Seth Ledford, Lee Dewire, Troy Hargrove, and Richard Dunavant.
