Rosa Lee Cook

Mrs. Rosa Lee Cook Mrs. Rosa Lee Potts Rochelle Cook, 87, former employee of Mutual Savings Insurance and resident of Spring Lane, died Friday, January 30, 2004, at NHC of Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Elmer Lusk officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Sam Potts and Evie Hutcherson Potts. She was first married to Wiley Marion. Rochelle who died in 1966 and later married William Henry Cook who also preceded her in death on January 16, 1993. Survivors include one son, Jimmy (Linda) Rochelle of Columbia; three grandchildren, Jim Rochelle, Carol (Tim) Massey, Tracy (John) Billingsley; five great grandchildren, Joshua Massey, Jordan Massey, Savannah Billingsley, Angel Billingsley, Christine Grace Billingsley; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Ruby Potts Parr, and four brothers, Alvin Potts, William R. Potts, James E. Potts, and Paul Potts. Pallbearers will be Jim Rochelle, Joshua Massey, Jordan Massey, J. B. Hickman, Jr., Tim Massey, and Harold Hickman.
