Rose Polly Denson Norton

Mrs. Rose Polly Denson Norton, 76, widow of John Edward Norton and retired dietician for the Maury County Board of Education, died Saturday, August 21, 2004 at her residence on Oakdale Drive. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at McMillan Funeral Home in Booneville, Mississippi with Rev. Dan Robertson officiating. Burial will be in the Little Brown Baptist Cemetery in Booneville. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at McMillan Funeral Home in Booneville. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors in charge of local arrangements. Survivors include a daughter, Fay (Gary) Hallmark of Decatur, Alabama; two sons, Jim (Karen) Norton of Mt. Pleasant and Rick (Trina) Norton of Cleveland; a sister, Lorene Wax of Booneville, Mississippi; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Paul) Still, Jeffrey (Renee) Norton and Elizabeth Ann Norton; several nieces and nephews.
