View Video Tribute View Funeral Webcast Rosia Jewell Brady Huckaby, 91, homemaker and resident of Mt. Juliet, died Thursday, January 28, 2021 in Sumner County. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Reverend James Lunsford officiating. Burial will follow in Santa Fe Cemetery. Born July 23, 1929 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Walker Brady and the late Roxie Taylor Brady. Survivors include her daughter, Pat (Donald) Talley of Mt. Juliet; sons, Terry (Phila) Huckaby of Hendersonville; Eddie Huckaby of Krum, Texas; Randy (Wanda) Huckaby of Mt. Juliet; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; sisters, Helen Wall of Nashville; Marie (Jim) McClain of Mt. Joy; Clara Stewart of Santa Fe; Faye Davis of Columbia; brothers, Alvin Brady of Fairview; Dewey (Dotty) Brady of Santa Fe; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Larry Huckaby; and brother, Malcomb Brady. Active pallbearers will be Cory Huckaby, Brandon Huckaby, Sam Simmons, Steve Huckaby, Christian Huckaby, Brady Simmons, Brock Talley, and Austin Talley.
