Mrs. Rosie Hue Scott Skinner, 89, resident of Howard Moore Lane in Culleoka, died Monday, May 31, 2004 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Tim McHenry officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The Williamson County native was the daughter of the late Edmund Walter Scott and Susan Annis Beard Scott. On January 27, 1932 she married Jim Tom Skinner who preceded her in death October 23, 1983. She was a member of Culleoka Church of Christ. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Daisy Lee Pearl (Barney) Cannady of Culleoka, Mrs. Annie Jean Cannady of Unionville, Mrs. Betty Carolyn (Jerry) Cheek of Culleoka, Mrs. Audrey Faye (Jim) Savage of Murfreesboro, Mrs. Kathy Louise Arzadon of Culleoka; four sons, Jim Frank (Agnes) Skinner of Williamsport, William Edward Skinner and John Randolph Skinner both of Culleoka, Larry Wayne (Bonnie) Skinner of Dyersburg; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Marlin and Miss Hazel Scott both of Franklin; twenty-five grandchildren including Ricky Vinson Wimberly of Culleoka, whom she raised; forty-five great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lillie Marie Skinner and son, Tommy Ray Skinner. Pallbearers will be Brian Geerts, Harry Marlin, Jim Skinner, Tim Cannady, Don Cannady, Tommy Skinner, Jr., Ricky Wayne Lamb, Scott Lamb, Bryant Brewer, Comer Brewer, Charles Southern, Adam Southern, Gart Davis, Jon Anderson, Joseph Hedrick, Sam Haywood and Chris Faulkner.
