Roxanne Lynne Yuncker Fly

Roxanne Lynne Yuncker Fly, 61, former employee of Lewis County Schools cafeteria and resident of Hohenwald, died Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at NHC Maury Regional. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Santa Fe Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born January 31, 1955 in Isabella County, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Ray Henry Yuncker and the late Macy Arlene Sandle. She was married to Leslie Gray Fly who preceded her in death January 26, 2011. Mrs. Fly enjoyed reading, cooking for her family, camping, being outdoors, and her dogs. Survivors include her sons, Douglas Ray (Paula) Barnes of Hohenwald; James Clanton (Misty) Barnes of Guthrie, KY; stepdaughters, Leslie Marie (Billy Ray) Huckaby of Spring Hill; Tamela Westmoreland of Shelbyville; brothers, Carl Ray Yuncker of Florence, AL; Joseph Wayne Mrazek of Ionia, MI; sisters, Sally (Danny) Michaels of St. Louis, MI; Brenda (Carlton) Loarman of Ionia, MI; Shirley (Jerry) Bell of Savannah; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and special pets, Hemi, Mimi, and Dixie. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, stepdaughter, and three dogs, Lace, Sissy, and Nafaya. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
