MR. ROY B. PRUITT Mr. Roy Beasley Pruitt, 89, farmer and retired employee of CPS in Franklin, and a resident of Kincaid Street in Spring Hill, died Saturday, January 10, 2004 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Brother Curtis Dowdy officiating. Burial will be in the Totty's Bend Cemetery in Hickman County. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Hickman County native was the son of the late Andy Phillip Pruitt and Lena Jane Tinsley Pruitt. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Lennie Irene Pruitt Pruitt of Spring Hill; 3 daughters, Patricia Fay Hood and Linda Kay (Larry) Bee, both of Columbia, Betty Jane (Kyle) Rowekamp of Detroit, Michigan; 5 grandchildren, Theron Hood, Troy (Keela) Hood, Todd (Lisa) Fitzgerald, Chase Smith, Ashley Anderson; 7 great-grandchildren; a sister, Ora Henley of Centerville; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, Trent Hood; a sister, Lucille Breece; 2 brothers, G. B. Pruitt and Rufus Pruitt. Pallbearers are Todd Fitzgerald, Troy Hood, Jim Smith, Chase Smith, Roger Pruitt, Maurice Matthews.
