Ruby Whiteside Riley

Ruby Whiteside Riley, 91, homemaker and resident of Whiteside Road in Hampshire, died Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Williamson Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with David Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in Worley Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late R. E. Whiteside and Ethel Jones Whiteside. On February 4, 1951, she married Curtis Riley who preceded her in death October 13, 2014. Mrs. Riley was member of Cathey's Creek Church of Christ. Survivors include her sons, Bill Riley of Hampshire and Steve Riley of Brentwood; grandchildren, Stephanie Riley and Will Riley both of Columbia; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Active pallbearers will be Butch Riley, Hugh Riley, Jr., Jeff Whiteside, Paul Whiteside, Stephen Worley, Tony Grimes, Benny Morton, and Terry Whiteside.
