Samantha Maria Salas, 20, traded in her wheelchair for her angel wings surrounded by her family and friends on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. A graveside service will be conducted Friday at 3:30 P.M. at Concord Cemetery with Tonya Marks officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 1:00 P.M - 3:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Born September 12, 1997 in Maury County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Humberto Salas and Tiffany Goad. Samantha was a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include her mother, Tiffany Goad of Lynnville; brothers, Austin Salas of Lynnville; Harley Beard of Columbia; father, Humberto (Marilyn) Salas of Columbia; grandparents, Donald (Betty) Goad of Columbia; Rita Barnes of Lynnville; great grandparents, Lambert and Knoxie Goad of Columbia; aunt, Rebecca (Michael) Gilbert of Lynnville; and cousins, Kaitlin King; Gracie King; Ava Jane Gilbert all of Lynnville; and Hayden Potts of Columbia.Active pallbearers will be Michael Gilbert, Jeff King, Kaitlin King, Gracie King, Bryce Stultz, and Humberto Salas.
