Sandra Elizabeth Smith Romo

Sandra Elizabeth Smith Romo, 58, former employee of Farmer Family Restaurant and resident of East 17th Street, died Friday, March 25, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 4:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Pylant officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Williamson County native was the daughter of the late Jesse Hubert Smith, Sr. and June Yetes Smith. Mrs. Romo loved writing poetry, coloring, and learning about her Native American Heritage. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her daughter, Neesha (Bill) Sanders, Jr. of Columbia; son, Joshua Smith of Columbia; brothers, Edward Smith, Ronnie (Virginia) Smith, John David Smith; sisters, Kathleen (James) Green, Barbara (Victor) Fulmizi, Brenda Gale Smith; niece, Chasitdy (Micah) Longo; nephew, Jake (Rhonda) Gaines; great nieces, Liberty Bucy, Jessica Bucy; and several other great nieces. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jesse Smith, Jr. and Wayne Smith.
