Sara Elizabeth Brown Crownover

Mrs. Sara Elizabeth Brown Crownover, 73, homemaker and resident of Westover Drive, died Thursday, February 14, 2008 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Glen Alexander and Elmer Lusk officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Tennessee native was the daughter of the late Johnny Brown and Molly Reese Brown. She was married to Charles Leonard Crownover who preceded her in death on April 14, 1999. She was a former nursing technician at Maury Regional Hospital and was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include two sons, Charles William (Jackie) Crownover of Trinity, Alabama; Roy Crownover of Columbia; one daughter, Betty (Ronnie) Dickey of Columbia; twelve grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Crownover and one brother, Alvin Eugene Brown. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Dickey, Brandon Williams, Ronnie Crownover, Jr., Ricky Crownover, Derrick Hayes, and Brian Crownover. Honorary pallbearers will be friends and family.
