Savannah C. Sands Savannah Carlyanne Sands, two-month old daughter of Julie Anna and Steven Lee Sands, II, died Monday, July 12, 2004 at her residence on West Sixth Street. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at St. Peter's Episcopal Church with The Rev. Thomas Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in St. Peter's Parish Hall. Mehalick of Hazleton, Pennsylvania; maternal great-grandmothers, Carolyn J. Looper of Columbia and Emily Y. Hartman of Nashville; paternal great-grandparents, Patty and Richard Mehalick of Hazleton, Pennsylvania; uncle, James Gray Hinshaw of Nashville; aunts, Julie and Chris Stockburger of Chattanooga, Stephanie Lee McGowan of Vicksburg, Virginia; great-aunts and great-uncles, Cynthia Kollstedt, Martha and Steve Meservy of Columbia, Ellen Roddy of Orlando, Florida, Michael and Debra Looper of Columbia, Daniel Kollstedt of Columbia, Richard Herrick of Hazleton, Pennsylvania: cousins, Brandi Lynn and Richard Crawley of Hinesville, Georgia, Michael Looper, Crystal Looper, Christina Kollstedt, Jennifer Kollstedt, Kari Meservy and Kadi Meservy, all of Columbia. She was preceded in death by maternal great-grandfathers, Bill Gray Looper and Henry Carl Hartman, Jr. and James D. Hinshaw.
