Scott Adrian Phelps

Scott Adrian Phelps, 39, independent lighting technician and resident of Nashville, died Wednesday January 8, 2020 at Tristar Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. The family will visit with friends Monday from 3:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born July 28, 1980 in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of Mark and Barbara Meyers Phelps. Scott attended Columbia State Community College for 2 year and then attended Watkins College of Arts. After college, Scott worked as an Independent Lighting Technician in the film industry. He is survived by his father, Mark Phelps; mother, Barbara Meyers Phelps; sisters, Jill (Bokar) Phelps and Angela Berryhill; nieces & nephews, Lauren Berryhill, Sage Berryhill, and Yassin Elabidi. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Crowley, Tyler Buchholz, Alex Gordon, Tony Dancy, David Lowe, Mac Cushing, and Jason Dennis.
