Sharon Elizabeth Worley

Ms. Sharon Elizabeth Worley, 55, resident of Groveland Ridge Road, died Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at her mother's residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. E.G. Sims officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Mount Cemetery. The Maury County native was the daughter of Dorothy Mae Sharp Worley of Columbia and the late Marvin "Jack" Worley. She was a 1966 graduate of Central High School and a 1967 graduate of Columbia Business College. She was a former computer operator at DuPont and a member of Pleasant Mount Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Survivors in addition to her mother are one daughter, Tonya Green of Columbia; one sister, Brenda Faye (Homer) Martin of Columbia; two nephews, Matt Martin and Jeff Martin both of Knoxville; one uncle, James Earl Worley; and several cousins including special cousin, Mrs. Betty Malugin. Pallbearers will be Matt Martin, Jeff Martin, James Worley, Tom Sharp, John Sharp and Kenny Lamar. Honorary pallbearers will be George Rochelle, Charles Martin, Bobby Potts, Homer Malugin, Dr. Ralph Barr and Men of Pleasant Mount Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
