Born August 20, 1954 in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Douglas Virgil Wood, Sr. and the late Margaret Hodge Wood. Survivors include her life-partner, Henry J. Chapman; children, Marion Reginald (Deborah) Asbury, George Nick (Patricia) Asbury, Kenneth Dale (Shelley) Asbury, Jolene Ann Moore; grandchildren, Marion Asbury, III, Marci (Harold) King, Wendy Vandygriff, Justin Asbury, Bethany Asbury, Stacie Asbury, Kevin Asbury, Randy (Nicole) Asbury, Amber Asbury, Steven Miller; great grandchildren, Adrianna, Laiklynn, Brileigh, Callimae, Riley, Allison, Justice, Jayden, Landon, Maylee, Leela; and nieces and nephews, Michael (Melissa) Wood, Chris (Melissa) Wood, and Michelle Owens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Douglas V. Wood, Jr.
