View Funeral Webcast Sheila Dianne Parham Nelson, 73, employee of Bellsouth and resident of Lawrenceburg, died Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Tennessee Southern Regional Health. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 6:00 P. M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Ricky Brown and John Horn officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 P.M until service time at the funeral home. Condolences maybe extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born February 5, 1948 in Pontiac, Michigan, she was the daughter of the last Thomas James Parham and the late Mae Sullivan Parham. Mrs. Nelson loved sewing, arts, and crafts. She was a member of the Methodist church. Survivors include her husband, Carl William Nelson, Jr. of Lawrenceburg; daughter, Amanda (Shane) Benefield of Columbia; son, Matthew James Nelson of Hampshire; grandson, Sebastian Nelson of Columbia; step daughter, Billie Parham; step granddaughter, Hannah Benefield of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Williams.
