View Funeral Webcast Shelby Tice Graham Riddle, 79, life-long resident of Columbia, died Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Reverend Gary Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Wilkes Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. and Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born August 17, 1940 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Eldon Thurman Tice and the late Ida Pauline Jones Tice. She was a graduate of Culleoka High School. Earlier in life she worked for Wooldrige Drugs and the City of Columbia, before retiring as an assistant personnel director for Rhone-Poulenc. After retirement, she spent her time sitting with elderly people, and enjoyed collecting antiques. Mrs. Riddle was a member of Mooresville Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Gwen Graham (Reverend Gary) Bailey of Culleoka; son, Clint Graham of San Antonio, Texas; sister, Jerline Sharp Key of Union, Missouri; grandchildren, Rebekah Bailey (Chance) Shrum of Lewisburg; Rachel Bailey of Culleoka; Anna Bailey of Culleoka; Staff Sergeant Matthew (Tabitha) Graham of Anchorage, Alaska; Ashley Graham of San Antonio, Texas; great grandchildren, Acelyn Graham, Ory Graham, Kai Graham, Damion Villanueva; niece, Felicia Hart of Montgomery, Alabama; nephew, Robin (Dawn) Sharp of Union, Missouri; aunt, Thelma Jones of Lynnville; and many cousins. Active pallbearers will be Chance Shrum, Staff Sergeant Matthew Graham, Randy Stewart, Tim Bailey, Bill Wells, and Danny Jones. Honorary pallbearers include retired employees of Stauffer/Rhone-Poulenc.
