Sherri Dee “MeMe” Starling Richardson

Sherri Dee “MeMe” Starling Richardson, 53, employee of Milliken & Company and resident of Columbia, died Saturday June 29, 2019 at her residence. A celebration of life will be conducted Wednesday at 6:00 P.M. at Oakes and Nichols Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Born October 2, 1965 in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Hight and the late Carolyn Craig Hight. On December 15, 2006, she married Jeff Richardson, and was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was very easy going and loved life, especially art and watching Andy Griffith. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren who brought much joy to her life. She is survived by her husband, Jeff Richardson; son, Blake Osborne; daughter, Mary Osborne; step-daughters, Lea Richardson and Shayna Richardson; grandchildren, Jadea Osborne, Jill Osborne, Camdean Osborne, Kailyn Osborne, Jahlin Osborne, Phoenix Osborne, and Xavier Lanier; step-grandchildren, Elijah Armstrong, Tristan Richardson, Kaisyn Richardson, Talea Sparkman, Malaney Richardson, Milla Grace Keels, and Meionna Keels; brothers, Marty “Marye” Hight, Danny Starling, and Michael Hight; sisters, Mickey Jones, Misty Swason, and Tara Hight; sisters-in-law, Sherry Wisdom, Vicki Elliott, and Tammy (Chris) Thurman; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
