View Funeral Webcast Mrs. Sherry Faye Ring, 85, resident of Blackburn Lane in Spring Hill, left her earthly home on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Visitation with the family will be held on Monday, December 26 beginning at 10:00 am at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm with Mike Isbell officiating. Burial will follow at Jones Cemetery. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Mrs. Sherry was born in Maury County and was the daughter of the late J.C. Connelly and the late Bernice Pratt Connelly. As a child, she spent much of her youth living in Wenatchee, Washington where her father worked at the apple orchard. At the age of 15, she met the love of her life, Mr. Aubary Dale Ring. They lived together happily married in Columbia for over 53 years before his passing in 2008. Mrs. Sherry devoted much of her life to helping care for her daughter Renae until her passing in 2009. She loved the Lord and was a helpmate to Mr. Ring during his time as an elder at Eastside Church of Christ and continued her Christian walk as a member of New Lasea Church of Christ for the past 45 years. Survivors include one son, Randy Dale (Ginger) Ring of Spring Hill; one brother, Gary Connelly of Columbia; two granddaughters, Stacey Crowell (Steve Farris) of Columbia, Lacey (Blair) Keeling of Culleoka; five great grandchildren, Makenna Crowell (Wade Park), Lawson Keeling, Phynlee Keeling, Aubrey Dale Keeling, and Blakely Anne Keeling; dear friends Joann Wiss, Myrtle Ring, and Tooter White. Mrs. Ring was preceded in death by her loving husband, Aubary Dale Ring, her daughter, Renae Ring Fox, and her sister-in-law Nancy Connelly. Pallbearers will be Ricky Ring, Billy Ring, David Ring, Steve Farris, John Waldrum, Sam McDaniel, and Johnny Wayne Churchwell. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of New Lasea Church of Christ.
