Sherry Lynn Chatman Johnson

Sherry Lynn Chatman Johnson, 56, homemaker, died Friday, December 7, 2018 at her residence on Gaither Drive. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Dickey Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born November 30, 1962 in Maury County, she was the daughter of James Chatman and the late Carolyn Henson Chatman. A very devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Mrs. Johnson always had an excellent and loving home for her family. Survivors include her husband, whom she married September 22, 1987, Curtis Richard Johnson of Columbia; father, James Chatman of Columbia; sons, Michael Wayne Pruitt, Edward Lee Johnson, Curtis Richard Johnson, Jr. all of Columbia; grandchildren, Brѐanna Morales, Hayden Scott, Kaylee Pruitt, Corey Pruitt, Kody Pruitt, Kelsie Pruitt, Karissa Pruitt, Cameron Hardison, Alexis Johnson, Jordan Johnson, Leighton Johnson; great granddaughter, Amirah Wellons; brothers, Ricky (Wannene) Chatman, Evan (Jennifer) Chatman; sister-in-law, Lisa (David) Conner; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Leanne Pruitt on July 16, 2018. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
