Miss Shirley Ann Riley, 74, a resident of Columbia, died Monday, November 21, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A graveside service for Miss Riley will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Polk Memorial Gardens with Jody Prichett officiating. The family will visit with friends from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com The family suggests that memorials be made to South Gate Church of Christ 2700 Pulaski Hwy, Columbia, Tennessee 38401. Born on March 24, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Olney “Dick” Riley and the late Juanita Anderson Riley. She loved to work and enjoyed the time she spent working at the Impact Center. She was always happy, full of love and a joy to be around. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her nieces and nephew. Miss Riley was a member of South Gate Church of Christ. Survivors include her sister, Nita (Tommy) Lentz; nieces, Shea (Cory) McNeilly and Shelby Lentz; nephew, Scott Lentz; and several cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Olney Ray “Dickey” Riley. Pallbearers will be Scott Lentz, Tommy Lentz, Cory McNeilly, Larry Nicholson, Loyce Anderson, Trevor Gilmer, and David Morgan.
