Shirley Vinson Loftin

Shirley Ann Vinson Loftin, 71, retired co-owner of Nick's Auction, died Sunday, January 21, 2007 at her residence on 5th Avenue. Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 11:00 to 12:30 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols. A native of Davidson County, she was the daughter of the late Cless Vinson and Bomar Scurlock Vinson. She was a graduate of West End High School in Nashville. Survivors include two daughters, Neika Pettus Wallace of Old Hickory and Lee Pettus (Rick) Balthrop of Springfield; a son, Steven Pettus of Columbia; a brother, Cless (Liz) Vinson of Murfreesboro; six grandsons, Adam Wallace, Luke Wallace, Seth Burcham, Samuel Balthrop, Aaron Pettus, and Jacob Pettus. Pallbearers are Steven Pettus, Adam Wallace, Luke Wallace, Seth Burcham, Robert Thurman, and Dennis Wallace.
