Mrs. Shirley Ann Harroun Westmoreland, 67, homemaker and resident of Scribner's Mill Road, died Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Rush, Rev. James Sampley and Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery. The Pontiac, Michigan native was the daughter of the late Willard E. Harroun and Mary Eunice Pipkin Harroun. On July 19, 1958 she married Windell Westmoreland of Culleoka who survives her. She was a graduate of Pontiac Central High School. She was a former employee of Weather Tamer. Mrs. Westmoreland was an avid quilter and was an active member of Friendship Baptist Church. In addition to her husband she is survived by three daughters, Susan Westmoreland, Mrs. Windie (J.J.) Hawkins, Darla Allred all of Culleoka; one honorary daughter, Sharon (Jimmy) Dobbins of Spring Hill; four grandchildren, Cliff (fiancé, Carrie Toone) Hawkins, Tabitha (Eric) Aulidge, Dane Allred, Samantha Hawkins; two honorary grandchildren, Leigh Anne (James) Mefferd, Tiffany Dobbins; two great-grandchildren, Sydney Dawson, Austin Toone; one sister, Mrs. Roylene (Mike) Heyer of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; one brother, Willard (Mary Lou) Harroun of Waterford, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Harroun and sister, Mary Helen Eager. Pallbearers will be Cliff Hawkins, Dane Allred, Paul Westmoreland, Tony Westmoreland, Chris Heyer, Bill Harroun, Jimmy Dobbins, Eric Aulidge, Joey Scott and Drew Lewis. Honorary pallbearers will be Quilting Circle of Friends; Longtime Friends of Culleoka; Doctors, Nurses and staff of the Coronary Care Unit and Pulmonary & Respiratory Care Unit of Maury Regional Hospital.
