Sonja Faye Bartlett White, 79, retired coal miner and resident of Columbia, Tennessee, died Friday, January 11, 2019 at St. Thomas Hospital West in Nashville, TN. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors are assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born December 18, 1939 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Elmo Bartlett and the late Louise Crews Grant. She was a member of Parrish Avenue Church of Christ in Owensboro. Survivors include her daughter, Keenah (David) Evans; son, Nakayln Crews White; grandchildren, Damien Evans, Trent Evans, Coltan White, Gunner White, Cash White, Pikee Delevie; great grandchild, Bailey Hagen; brother, Barry (Rhonda) Bartlett; and nephew, Cody Bartlett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Stormy Evans.
