SONNY McCULLOM, JR. Mr. Sam Hallis "Sonny" McCullom, Jr., 55, longtime resident of Columbia, died Wednesday, June 18, 2003 at his residence. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Saturday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Monte McCandless officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The Maury County native was the son of the late Sam Hallis McCullom Sr. and Mary Dorothy Hyle McCullom. He was a self-employed painter and an avid fisherman and hunter.
