Phillip Staley Lovell, 51, real estate agent and owner of Lovell Homes, LLC, passed away Friday, September 2, 2005, at Vanderbilt Medical Center. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home and Monday after 12:00 noon at the church. Funeral mass will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Monday at St. Catherine Catholic Church. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery with military honors provided by Tennessee National Guard. The Maury County native was the son of the late Erbie Eugene Lovell and Ruby Copeland Lovell Cummings. Mr. Lovell was a 1972 graduate of Haylong High School in Mt. Pleasant and served in the U. S. Army. He coached Columbia Girls Fast Pitch Softball for several years and was lead singer and guitarist with the Saddle Creek Band. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a communicant of St. Catherine Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Nona Lane Lovell of Columbia; two daughters, Kaley Lovell and Chelcie Lovell, both of Columbia; two sons, Jamie Lovell and Jarred Lovell, both of Killeen, Texas; three grandchildren, James Lovell, Zhamien Lovell, and Michala Lovell, all of Killeen, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Angela (Jerry) Hall and Mrs. Pam (Davis) Honey, both of Mt. Pleasant; one brother, Bill (Diane) Lovell of Mt. Pleasant; mother-in-law, Mrs. Margaret Lane of Clinton, Tennessee; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John (Jane) Lane, Sandy Willoughby, Una York, and Thomas Lane, all of Clinton, Tennessee; Sister Mary Reginald, O.P., of Denver, Colorado; Ruth (Phil) Littlejohn of Powell, Tennessee; Elmer C. Lane, Jr., of Oak Ridge, Tennessee; Leo Lane of Temple, Texas, and Derek (Lynn) Lane of Athens, Alabama, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Elmer C. Lane, Sr.; sister-in-law, Lorna Oerther; and brother-in-law, Duane York. Pallbearers will be Mike Thomas, Bill Ethridge, Tim Scribner, Freddie Rich, Mike Cook, Bobby Alderson, Jimmy Waters, and Jerry Angus. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Bratton, Randy Hardison, Jimmy Hughes, Jim Dubois, Dr. Robert A.
