Stephen Howard "Bubba" Luna, 67, press operator for Smurfit Stone, died Sunday, August 6, 2017 at his residence on Whitesell Road. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Danny Hanson officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Andrew G. "Jack" Luna and the late Vera Scorobogaty Luna. A devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather, he loved to spend time with his family. Mr. Luna enjoyed farming and worked on his farm all his life.Survivors include his wife, whom he married November 24, 1993, Linda Hayes Luna of Culleoka; children, Stephanie Wortham; Andy Luna; John (Nicki) Luna all of Culleoka; Jennifer (Mike) Goldman of Richland; grandchildren, Christopher Wortham; Katie Wortham; Kelsey Wortham; Jessica Luna; Jason Luna; Zach Adams; Justin Adams; Jacob Morton; Brandon Morton; Josh Morton; David Morton; Aubrey (Thomas) Morgan; Cole Goldman; great grandchildren, Tinsley Wortham; Austyn Good; Easton Good; Ethan Luna; Jaelyn Morton; sisters, Linda (Mike) Wagers; Lori (Terry) Bell; brother, Ronald Luna; nephews, Scott (Rachel) Luna; Shane (Mandy) Luna; Matt Hargrove; and several great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Patricia Luna.
