Sue Carolyn Dugger Andrews, 82, homemaker and retired self-employed babysitter, died Thursday, February 21, 2019 at her residence in Culleoka. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Russell Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Born September 9, 1936 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Henry Clay Dugger, Sr. and the late Janie McConnell Dugger. On May 16, 1954, she married Joe Waymon Andrews who preceded her in death November 15, 2009. She was a 1954 graduate of Culleoka High School. Mrs. Andrews enjoyed gardening and going to all the ball games at Culleoka. She was a member of Culleoka Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Kaye Locke of Culleoka; son, Edward (Janet) Andrews of Culleoka; sisters, Virginia (Doug) Tyree of Lewisburg; Margaret Chapman of Lewisburg; Laquita Hobby of Mooresville; Darlene (Joe) Alexander of Culleoka; Kathy (Mike) Richardson of Culleoka; brothers, Henry Clay (Charlie Ann) Dugger, Jr. of Columbia; Charles (Sandra) Dugger of Lynnville; Ronald Dugger of Knoxville; Don (Donna) Dugger of Columbia; sister-in-law, Joyce Hickman Dugger of Spring Hill; grandchildren, Jennifer (Mark)Ward of Culleoka; Jessica (Devin) Bradford of Dickson; Steven (Amanda) Andrews of Murfreesboro; Julie (Brett) Ballinger of Oakland; great grandchildren, Ethan Spoon of Culleoka; Emily Bradford of Dickson; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Curtis “Bob” Dugger, Sr., and William James Dugger. Pallbearers will be her nephews, Tim Dugger, Chris Dugger, Marty Tyree, James Dugger, Clay Dugger, Robby Dugger, Scott Dugger, Donald Dugger, Casey Dugger, Mark Hobby, Gary Hobby, Joe Darrell Alexander, and Bradley Richardson. Honorary pallbearers include Elders and Deacons of Culleoka Church of Christ.
