Mrs. Stella Sue Gott Hartman, 83, former resident of Greely Drive, died Monday, June 11, 2007 at Henderson County Community Hospital in Lexington, Tennessee. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. David McGregor officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Bethel College, Attn: Development Office, 325 Cherry Avenue, McKenzie, Tennessee 38201. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Sequatchie County native was the daughter of the late Leonard Clinton Gott and Della Carlton Gott. She was married to Clyde Harold Hartman who preceded her in death in 1988. Mrs. Hartman was a was a longtime member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and later joined Pleasant Heights Baptist Church, where she attended for several years and was involved in the "Sunshine" work. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Jane (Van) Walker of Lexington; one son, Wendel (Debbie) Hartman of Tullahoma; six grandchildren, Beverly (Mike) Pinkerton of Parker, Colorado; Rebecca (Jeremy) Calhoun, Carrie Ann Walker, and Mary Catherine Walker, all of Lexington, Tennessee; Stefanie (Tommy) Colucci of Tullahoma; and Chris Hartman of Pensacola, Florida; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Alma Shelley and Mary Hendrix. Pallbearers will be Chris Hartman, Tommy Colucci, Tommy Abbott, Andy Hartman, David Hartman, Don Deakens, and Jeremy Calhoun. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Turner, Willard Temes, Joe Hartman, L. W. Hartman, Mark Hartman, Gary Hartman, Jimmy Hartman, Wayne Turner, Franklin Turner, Martin Smith, and Stanley Shelley.
