Susan Diane Vaughn Irick

Susan Diane Vaughn Irick, 47, machine operator for Saargummi and resident of Pulaski, died Monday, July 22, 2019 at NHC Maury Regional Transitional Care Center. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11:00 A.M. at Oakes and Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Herb Helton officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born March 2, 1972 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late J.B. “Johnny” Vaughn and Carolyn Juanita Williams Buie. Susan loved everyone in her family so much, and was especially proud of her three children and their strong work ethic. She loved to travel and see new places. Her sweet voice and smile would light up a room. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband, Mark Irick of Pulaski; daughters, Jessica Arbuckle, Brittney Arbuckle; son, Lance (Bree) Arbuckle; mother, Juanita (Dan) Buie; sisters, Annette (Steve) Yerger, Emily (Isaac) Whitson; brother, Mark Vaughn; step-brother, Barrett Buie; grandchildren, Brylon, Kay, Jayce, Paisley, Janie, Myles, Jaxon, Marley, Sabra, Leina, Aidan, Allen; nieces, Eva, Caroline, and Elizabeth; nephew, Bracken; stepchildren, Andrew Irick, Jeremey Irick, Nick Irick, and Samantha (Jason) Ring. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her grandson Bentley. Active pallbearers will include Lance Arbuckle, Jeremy Irick, Phillip Irick, Mark Vaughn, Isaac Whitson, and Bracken Dodson.
