Susie Mae Hickman Lynn

Mrs. Susie Mae Hickman Lynn, 88, widow of George Alton Lynn and long-time resident of Sowell Mill Pike, died Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at NHC Hillview. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Jack White and Calvin Hardison officiating. Burial will be in Greenfield Bend Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Hickman County native was the daughter of the late Sam Hickman, Sr. and Annie Hickman Hickman. She was a long-time member of Antioch Church of Christ. Survivors include three daughters, Sarah (Harry) Edwards of Columbia, Patricia (James N. ) Hardison of Columbia, and Connie White of White Bluff; a son, Larry Wayne (Joyce) Lynn of Columbia; 12 grandchidren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a niece. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Mary Sue Lynn; a sister, Gladys Rochelle; and 2 brothers, Carlos Hickman and Sam Hickman, Jr. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
