Tamela Eve Fly Westmoreland, 61, homemaker and resident of Columbia, died Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Alive Hospice. No services are scheduled at this time. Born October 16, 1962 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Leslie Gray Fly. the late Ella Shirley Blocker Fly, and her step-mother, the late Roxanne Lynn Yunker Fly. Known for her loving and caring heart, she was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She enjoyed being outdoors, loved all animals and made sure they always had a home. Ms. Westmoreland was of Christian faith and spent her morning with devotions. She was an avid music lover, enjoyed dancing, and reading. Survivors include her daughter, Tranace (Brian) Clinton of Hohenwald; son, Kenneth Miller of Smyrna; daughter-in-law, Rachel Miller; grandchildren, Jadeyn Clinton, Emma Embry, Aydan Cook, Savannah Miller, Layla Miller; great grandchildren, E.J. and Kyson; sister, Les Marie (Billy Ray) Huckaby; several nieces, nephew, cousins; and numerous loving friends.
