Tammy Melissa Davis, 58, resident of Columbia, died Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Maury Regional Medical Center surround by her loving family. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Reverend Derek Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in Spencer Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born June 22, 1964 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Jack Julius Davis and the late Mary Etta Oliver Davis. Tammy enjoyed traveling with her caregivers, animals, soap operas, wrestling, cotton candy, but most of all spending time with her family. She loved meeting new people, never forgetting them, and then the next time she saw them giving them a hug. Tammy was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include several nieces and nephews, Amanda (Dennis) Butler, Harold Richardson, Jr., Melissa (Derek) Gray, Michael Ray Davis, Jr, Denise (Robert Pierce) Salerno, Robin Osborne (Jeff Fault), Mitchell Davis, Lucas (Lizzy) Davis, Mickey Davis, Rebecca Sanders, Travis Wiseman, and Beth Gray; sister-in-law, Kim Davis; brother-in-law, W.C. Brown; several great nieces and nephews; and several great great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Gloria Ann Hendrix, Jennifer Diane Wiseman, Sherry Bates, Lou Ellen Miller; brothers, Michael Ray Davis, Dennis Davis; and brother-in-law, Tommy Hendrix. Active pallbearers will be Mitchell Davis, Lucas Davis, Harold Richardson, Jr., Trevor Webb, Carter Salerno, Robert Pierce, and Dennis Butler.
