MR. TED PRINCE Mr. Eddie Hinson "Ted" Prince, 69, retired co-owner of Harris & Prince Foodtown, died Thursday, August 7, 2003, at his residence on Old T.V.A. Road. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Brother Ricky Cotton and Brother Ezell Rose officiating. Burial will be in Rock Springs Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. He was a retired employee of Southern Livestock and affiliated with Maury County Cattlemen's Association. He was a member of Cross Bridges Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Earline White Prince of Columbia; three sons, Eddie (Connie) Prince, Jr., Garry (Missy) McDonald and Larry (Christie) McDonald all of Columbia; two sisters, Mrs. Peggy Kelley of Sawdust, Nelda Lawrence of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; six grandchildren, Eddie Prince, III, Jonathan McDonald, Tiffany McDonald, Dustin McDonald, Matthew McDonald, Ashley McDonald; and one great-grandchild, Chad Prince. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Felicia Prince and three brothers, Pete Prince, Brown Prince and Emmitt Prince. Pallbearers will be Dwayne Waire, Don Sisk, Edger Chumley, Jim Thornburg, James "Sambo" Baker, Joe Liggett, Sammy McCanless and Steven McCanless. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Baker, Bobby Baker, Donald Scott, Buddy Huckaby, R.L. King, Jesse Moore, Steve Derryberry, G.W. Miller, Dr. John Maloof, Dr. Charles Ball, Dr. Grant Barr and members of Cross Bridges Baptist Church.
