Teresa Mae Burgett Parker

Teresa Mae Burgett Parker, 54, died Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at her residence in Mt. Pleasant. A graveside service was held Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at Arlington Cemetery with Dennis Smith officiating. The Maury County native was the daughter of Evelyn Joy Rochelle Burgett and James Reid Burgett of Mt. Pleasant. She was married to Randall Eugene "Randy" Parker who preceded her in death May 30, 1991. Mrs. Parker enjoyed being outdoors; but most of all, she loved caring for her grandchildren. She was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughters, Jamie Rochelle (Will) Hutson of Mt. Pleasant and Rachel Michelle (William Randall) Horn of Columbia; stepson, Michael Eugene Parker of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Heith Hutson, Cole Hutson, Railynn Hutson, Tyler Horn, Levi Horn; brother, James Reid (Angela) Burgett, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant; grandmother, Mollie Maxwell Burgett of Mt. Pleasant; two nieces, Carrie and Jenny; and special dog, Toby. Family and friends served as pallbearers.
