Terry Lane Bratton

Mr. Terry Lane "Turtle" Bratton, 50, employee of General Machine Works and resident of Davis Ave., died Monday, March 3, 2008 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Elmer Lusk officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of Bernice Brown Bratton of Columbia and the late Clarence Bratton. He was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to his mother he is survived by a son, Samuel Bratton of Santa Fe; three brothers, Mike Bratton, Steve Bratton, David (Judy) Bratton all of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Danny Ray Dawson, Roy Hickman, Al Sharpton, Bobby Mangrum, Ronnie Scott, Charlie Mayberry and Kelly Ray Bratton.
