Thomas C Howell

Mr. Thomas Calvin Howell, 62, self-employed carpenter, died Monday, February 12, 2007 at his residence in the Waco Community. A memorial graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Mike Roberts officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4 - 8 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Willie Clark Howell and Mae Crain Howell. He was a graduate of Columbia Central High School. He loved fishing, gardening and woodworking. Survivors include his wife, Doris Pennington Howell of the Waco Community; daughter, Lacy Leann Howell of the Waco Community; two sisters, Barbara (J.D.) Phillips of Unionville, Norma (Tim) Reese of Spring Hill; one brother, Gary (Debbie) Howell of Lynnville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, William Edward Howell. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Reese, Josh Howell, David Hickman, Patrick Davis, Jesse Howell, Rudy Duke and Kelvin Crain.
