MR. THOMAS SCOTT Mr. Thomas Ray Scott, 45, employee of Evan Dooley Construction and resident of Dry Fork Road in Hampshire, died Sunday, September 15, 2002. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Andrew Allen officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. and Tuesday from 2:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. He is survived by his mother, Imogene Dale Scott of Columbia; one daughter, Crystal (Randall) Himes of Hampshire; two sons, Jason Scott of Ft. Gordon, Georgia, and Jacob Bell Scott of Columbia; step-father, Larry Rountree of Columbia; one sister, Shelia (Perry) Vick of Columbia; one brother, Allen Dean Scott of Columbia; two granddaughters, Breonna Faith Himes and Katlyn Paige Himes both of Hampshire; and one niece, Misty Vick of Columbia. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Elbert Scott and one sister, Verba Jean Scott. Pallbearers will be Mike Dale, Jimmy Dale, Anthony Dale, Evan Dooley, Felix "Junior" Bradford and Donnie Crumley. Honorary pallbearers will be Clifton Himes, Ron Miller, Ronnie Kelly, Jeff Dale and Marvin Dale.
