Thomas E Springer

Thomas "Tommy" Eugene Springer, 78, resident of Edgar Springs, Missouri and former resident of Columbia, died Wednesday, March 15, 2006, in Rolla, Missouri. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. John Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Lynnwood Cemetery. The Lawrence County native was the son of the late James B. and Charlotte Cannady Springer. Mr. Springer was a bugler in the Army National Guard. He retired from Weather Tamer, Inc. and was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Salem, Missouri. Survivors include his wife, Frances Marie Anderson Springer of Edgar Springs, Missouri; two stepsons, Leslie Paul (Karen) Dowell of Edgar Springs, Missouri; William Carl (Jean) Dowell of Gallatin; one brother, James L. (Lucille) Springer of Columbia; one grandson, Ray (Denise) Inman of St. Augustine, Florida; two nieces, Lucy Jane Murcherson of Hixson; Charlotte Smith of Soddy Daisy; three nephews, Louis Springer of Columbia; Billy Springer of Pegram, and Kevin Springer of Columbia. He was preceded in death by one brother, Aaron W. Springer.
