TONY CHUMLEYAnthony Blake "Tony" Chumley, 40, materials accounting specialist with Detachment 1, Company A, 107th Aviation Division of the Tennessee National Guard, died Friday, May 30, 2003 from injuries sustained in an accident in Smyrna. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Brother Curtis Dowdy officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery with military honors provided by the Tennessee National Guard. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family atwww.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was a graduate of Columbia Central High School and a member of the Smyrna First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Cleveland Chumley. Survivors include his adopted mother, Wilmer Whidby Chumley of Columbia; his mother and step-father, Jean Hopwood Luttrell and Charlie Lovett of Columbia; five daughters, Brandy Nicole Chumley, April Dawn Chumley of Columbia, Aleda Jill Chumley, Tara Ann Chumley, Carla Louise Chumley of Tullahoma; maternal grandfather, William Whidby of Columbia; two brothers, Mike Luttrell of Mt. Pleasant, Larry (Linda) Luttrell of Columbia; a nephew, Camden Luttrell of Columbia; three step-sisters, Bobbie Lovett, Angela McGee of Columbia, Christy Garner of Pulaski; several step-nieces and step-nephews. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
