Travis Wesley "Pockets" Riddle, 18, resident of Glencoe Drive in Culleoka, died Monday, July 2, 2007 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Graymere Church of Christ with Pastor Art McCormack and Rev. Kenny Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4 - 8 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home and Saturday from 9 - 10 a.m. at the church. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of Amos Lee Riddle of Culleoka and Cindy Cannady Moore of Franklin. He was a 2007 graduate of Culleoka High School. He was employed by Harvey's Gym and had previously worked at Custom Automotives. Travis loved hunting and outdoor sports including water sports. He was very close to his friends and employees at Sarge's Cycles. Travis was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors in addition to his parents include two brothers, A.J. Riddle and Cody Riddle both of Culleoka; maternal grandmother, Margaret Hurst Cannady of Culleoka; paternal grandmother, Gracie Zimmerman Riddle of Summertown; maternal great-grandmother, Phoebia Lindsey Hurst of Waverly; step-father, Don Moore of Franklin; two step-brothers, Corey Moore of Nashville, Chad Moore of Franklin; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Thomas P. Riddle and Frank Shirley Cannady. Pallbearers will be A.J. Riddle, Cody Riddle, Heath Fitzgerald, Dakota Cheek, J.T. Lunn, Jacob Patterson, Justin Crumbley and Adam Boles. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff at Sarge's Cycles, the staff at Harvey's Gym and members of the Culleoka High School Class of 2007.
