Vera Mae Andrews Wiley Daniels, 86, retired employee of Weather-Tamer, died Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at her residence on Poplar Street.Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Joe Macer and John Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. and Sunday from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.Born May 7, 1932 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late William Leslie Andrews and the late Annie D. Webb Andrews. On July 7, 1951 she married James Robert Wiley who preceded her in death December 23, 1991; and on September 20, 1994, she married James Earl Daniels, Sr. who also preceded her in death August 29, 2000. She enjoyed playing Word Search games. Mrs. Daniels was a member of South Gate Church of Christ.Survivors include her children, Lydia (Bobby) Powell of Columbia; Jeffrey Dale (Janie) Wiley of Minor Hill; devoted friend, Jody Dickinson of Columbia; step-son, Colin (Vickie) Daniels of South Fulton; grandchildren, Lee Vaughn, Adam York, Amanda Vaughn, Ryan Wiley, Kaley Wiley, Hunter Wiley, Destiny Wiley; and great grandchildren, Cash York, Ava Jellico, Austin Vaughn, Page Vaughn, Lily Wiley.In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Dianne Vaughn; and siblings, O. B. Andrews, Mary Ella Andrews Wright, William D. Andrews, Cordie Lee Andrews, Charles Eugene Andrews, Frances Rebecca Andrews Staggs, Rachel Andrews Dallayer.Active pallbearers will be her grandsons, Lee Vaughn, Adam York, Ryan Wiley, and other family members. Honorary pallbearers will include Dr. Robert A. Bain, Dr. Janice M. Vinson, Lorene Hickman, and Elders and Deacons of South Gate Church of Christ.
