Vickey Johnette Blalock Locke

 Vickey Johnette Blalock Locke, 70, homemaker and longtime resident of Maury County, died Thursday January 9, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 1:30 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Billy Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 3:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born January 10, 1949 in Maury County, she was the daughter of Mickey Olivia Campbell Blalock and the late John Samuel Blalock. On June 23, 1967, she married Terry Locke. Mrs. Locke is a member of the Faith Freewill Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Terry Locke; daughter, Elisa (Barry) Walker; son, Jeffery Locke; grandchildren, Ariel Locke, Bryce Walker, and Rylan Walker; mother, Mickey Olivia Campbell Blalock; sister, Mickey (Randall) Dooley; nephew, Kevin Dooley. She was preceded in death by her father, John Samuel Blalock. Active pallbearers will be Billy Green, Artie Haskin, Danny Cooper, Kenny Eubank, Eddie Rogers, and Barry Walker.
