Vickie Jean Ramsey, 65, former employee of Elm Hill Meats and resident of Columbia, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 12:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor James Maddox officiating. Burial will follow in Neapolis Cemetery. Born October 22, 1952 in Davidson County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Gene Leo Ramsey and the late Gloria Dean Ramsey. She was a graduate of Glenn Cliff High School. Miss Ramsey loved God and was a faithful member of Straight Way Christian Center of Columbia. Survivors include her sisters, Wanda (Mark) Sartain of Lewisburg; Kim (Jerry) Hyatt of Pleasant View; Lisa Nickens of Columbia; Karen Perdue of Franklin, Kentucky; Sharon (Butch) Pincheck of Columbia; seven nephews; two nieces; six great nieces; and five great nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gene Leo "Butch" Ramsey, II.Active pallbearers will be Gene Street, Timothy Blystone, Jarred Blystone, Michael Cleek, Alex Harvey, Jacob Blystone, Ryan Harvey, A.J. Torres, Jerry Hyatt, Jerry Nickens, Butch Pincheck, Mike Harvey, and Mike Cleek.
